Manchester Art Gallery

Worth stepping inside. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, and best of all, entry is free. For souvenir, there is a variety of interesting items in their gallery shop, so much to choose from.

Another must-see in Manchester (along with the museum) where entry is free to all. The 3 buildings housing the collection are joined in the middle with a bright, airy glassed in atrium where all the buildings (and levels) are connected by a lift and bridges. The exhibition 'Unpicking Couture' where the art is fashion was really neat. Highly recommended! Nov 29,2025 C&J
